ALL AROUND

Snakes have always fascinated me in the way they move and the texture and color of them intrigued me in a way that I had to paint one. This green tree python is known to tease their prey by tangling from a tree branch then striking and constricting. I wanted a photo that portrayed that action and I wanted to paint it with detail using watercolor as the base and different colors of pen and ink for the tiny scales that can be found on a snake of this beauty.
